“Getting in and out of buildings: In normal years, this isn’t a task to which most anyone would give a second thought once regulatory issues have been addressed. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, Arrow Senior Living put some extra planning into helping people safely enter its communities…”
Arrow Senior Living implemented a check-in system that assessed temperature & face mask positioning, and alerted employees if there was an issue with either of those things. It checked people in, as well, freeing up time for employees and creating a digital paper trail, allowing ease of review in case something, such as a symptomatic visitor, had to be reviewed.
Arrow took home the Gold in the 2021 Senior Living: Quality category at this year’s McKnight’s Senior Living Excellence in Technology Awards thanks to the efforts of Brian Nikodim and his team developing the system.
We’re so proud of the way our team was able to problem solve throughout COVID and find solutions to new issues we never expected to face!
